Step 1: Download Your Lightbeans Texture for AutoCAD Architecture
- Head over to lightbeans.com/textures
- Click on a texture sphere
- Click the Download 3D Texture button at the bottom right
- Select AutoCAD as target application
- Download the texture and extract the .zip file

AutoCAD Architecture uses a Glossiness input rather than a dedicated Roughness slot. Roughness and Glossiness are inverse values, so the Roughness map from Lightbeans will need to be inverted after loading if your surface appears too reflective. Alternatively, use the Roughness map as-is and adjust the Glossiness multiplier manually to compensate.
- Bump input — assign the Displacement map
AutoCAD Architecture does not have a dedicated displacement slot. The Lightbeans Displacement map is used in the Bump slot as a surface relief approximation.
Step 5: Save the Material
Once all maps are assigned, close the material editor. The new material is automatically added to your document's materials list in the Materials Browser, where it is available to apply to any object or surface in your project.
