Barrisol becomes the first stretch ceiling manufacturer to join the Lightbeans platform

Lightbeans welcomes Barrisol, the world leader in stretch ceilings, as the first manufacturer in its category to make its finishes available in 3D textures on its platform. Now, architects and designers can integrate Barrisol textures into their 3D projects with striking realism, right from the early stages of design.

The Barrisol stretch ceiling system, consisting of a flexible fabric cut to size and fixed by a wall profile, is known for its quick, clean, and quiet installation, both in new construction and renovation projects. With more than 250 colors, 15 finishes, 3D shape options, light boxes, mirror effects, and its eco-friendly Biowood range, Barrisol adapts to all styles and types of projects: residential, commercial, or public.

All Barrisol ranges can also be produced in a micro-perforated version to improve the acoustic comfort of spaces. This option allows for a sound absorption coefficient (NRC) of up to 1. Thanks to the micro-perforations, which are virtually invisible to the naked eye, the aesthetics of the ceiling are preserved while offering optimal acoustic performance.

Thanks to Lightbeans' scanning service, these finishes can now be viewed photorealistically in the industry's most widely used architecture and design software, including SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Rhino, Enscape, Twinmotion, V-Ray, and many others. These high-definition scanned textures include PBR (Physically Based Rendering) maps, allowing designers to understand how materials will look under different lighting or environmental conditions. The files are also repeatable, allowing large surfaces to be covered without visible joints and improving realism. This is essential for Barrisol ceilings, which can reach up to 535 cm wide without welding.
